Request to access a document

As a public body, the Municipality of Mille-Isles is subject to the Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information (L.R.Q., c. A-2.1).

You may therefore request to consult all documents held by the Municipality, except those considered as exceptions by the Act, such as documents relating to the protection of personal information.

Procedure

A request may be made verbally or in writing, but only a written request is subject to review by the Commission d’accès à l’information (CAI).

If you are the owner of the building for which you wish to obtain information, you can:

Download and fill out the form and send it to us by email or mail;

Or

Fill out the paper form available at Town Hall.


If you are not the owner of the building for which you wish to obtain information, you must:

Download and fill out the form, including the building owner’s consent with this proxy form, and send it to us by email or mail;

Or

Complete the paper form available at Town Hall, along with the building owner’s consent.

A fee is payable for the transcription and reproduction of a document held by the Municipality.
