Sunday, June 30th – 1st farmer’s market of real local producers of Mille-Isles

Sunday, June 30 will be held the first Mille-Isles farmer’s market entirely composed of producers of Mille-Isles. A great opportunity to meet them and buy local. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

During this day, at 10 a.m. participate in a composting workshop  offered by biologist Mathieu Madison. The title of the workshop: The soil cycle, the importance of soil conservation and how to contribute to it, particularly through composting.

And at 2 p.m., the day will end with a conference by Martin Picard, ornithologist and director of DOA (Ornithological Development Argenteuil). The title of the conference: The birds of Mille-Isles, rare and endangered species. Reservation for this conference is mandatory and the cost of the ticket is $ 10. The deadline to book is June 25th.
